One School, One Book

Welcome to the annual school book club called “One School, One Book.”  This is a unique program because students at ALL grade levels will be reading and/or listening to the SAME BOOK!!  This year the TCE PTA has sponsored the purchase of a book for every single Eagle called, “A Boy Called Bat” by Elana K. Arnold. Reading aloud at home is valuable because it better prepares your child to be an effective reader. But it is also a fun, worthwhile family activity! With the One School, One Book program, we aim to build a community of readers at TCE!

EVERYONE – students, teachers, even administrative staff – will be participating, and we can all reap the many benefits. There is a reading schedule below so you can keep up at home.  We have also created some OPTIONAL activities below for students to complete as they read. We hope you enjoy the book!
