We are thrilled you are here!! Being new to a school brings excitement, anticipation and can be a little overwhelming. Below are some helpful tips from your PTA to help you out. Welcome to the Eagle Family!

  • Please Contact Us or call us 980.343.0695 for a personal tour.
  • The CMS website is full of information about CMS Schools and will be a helpful resource.

Drop Off /Pick Up

  • Students are not allowed to enter the building until 8:00 a.m. and the bell rings at 8:30 a.m.
  • School pick up is at 3:30 pm.  Car Rider Tags must be displayed in the window during pick up. Forms for Car Riders are available by calling the school at 980.343.0695.
  • If you need to make a transportation change for your student, please email Ms. Glover at Kyra1.glover@cms.k12.nc.us.  Please include a contact phone number in your email in case the school needs to call for more information.  Emails must be posted before 1:30 on the day the change will be made.
  • If your student is a walker, please wait at the walker gate to meet them. Staff members are in place monitoring their progress to the gate and Mr. Brawley will be there to make sure they are safely delivered into your hands.

Absences

When a student is absent from school, communication from the parent is needed to code the absence properly.  You can report an absence using the Report an Absence link on the TCE CMS website: Report An Absence (cms.k12.nc.us).  You may also write a note, send the doctor excuse or email Ms. Glover at kyra1.glover@cms.k12.nc.us. 

Partner Programs

There are several vendors who partner with TCE to provide valuable funds for our classrooms and programs.  By enrolling in these programs, you are helping TCE and your student’s classroom every time you shop, eat or order.  The programs run year round so be sure to enroll ASAP (and re-enroll annually every Aug. 1!) and start helping TCE now!

(3) Click HERE to log into your Publix account and select TCE as your partner school; and
(4) Click HERE to enter in Coca-Cola product codes and caps.

Paint the Rock
Painting the Rock on a student’s birthday is a TCE tradition. It is a free and fun way to celebrate your student!
